Webinar recording: A new duty to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace: what does it mean for employers?

The Worker Protection (Amendment of the Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 will come into force in October 2024. This webinar explored the new legislation being introduced requiring employers to take proactive steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. 

This webinar touched on the legal context behind sexual harassment, including how The Equality Act 2010 defines it and who is held responsible. The primary focus is on the new Act, including how it will be enforced and what guidance employers can expect. We provided an overview of the legal parameters and an outline of the practical steps employers should be taking now to prepare.
