DWF advises software group on £14.7m sale of managed services subsidiary

04 March 2021
DWF has advised AIM listed software specialist K3 Business Technology plc on the sale of its managed services business, Starcom Technologies Limited, which will become part of Node4 Limited.
K3 Business Technology Group provides business software, cloud solutions and managed services. The sale of Starcom Technologies Limited to Node4 will enable the business to focus on their strategy of growing their own IP product revenue.

DWF's Corporate team acted for K3 Business Technology in the sale, led by Head of Corporate Frank Shephard and Senior Associate Katy Philips.

Frank said: "It was a pleasure to support K3 on this transformative transaction. This deal is another good example of how the technology sector continues to drive M&A activity, as the sector has demonstrated how robust it is against the challenges of the global pandemic."
