DWF advises Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd. on acquisition of Inceptum Insurance Company Limited

24 August 2020
DWF, the global legal business, has advised Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd ("R&Q"), a non-life global specialty insurance company, on the acquisition of Inceptum Insurance Company Limited from Syndicate Holding Corp.

R&Q's wholly owned subsidiary, Randall & Quilter II Holdings Limited has signed an agreement to acquire, subject to regulatory approval, the entire issued share capital of Inceptum Insurance Company Limited from Syndicate Holding Corp.

Corporate Senior Associate, Raeesa Chowdhury led the deal together with Paddy Eaton (Corporate Partner) and with input from Jon Stevens (Tax Partner).

Paddy Eaton, Partner at DWF commented, "We are delighted to have advised Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd. on this transaction."

Raeesa Chowdhury, Corporate Senior Associate at DWF commented, "It was a pleasure for us to work with, and advise, R&Q on this transaction and it reflects the track record of R&Q's dedicated M&A team in effecting and implementing legacy acquisitions".

Paul Corver, Group Head of M&A at R&Q also commented:
"We are very pleased to have executed this deal, which is now subject to regulatory approval, and to have worked with the team at DWF. The success of a deal often depends on the capabilities of the law firm to help the client through the agreements, identifying the must haves from the nice to haves, and ensuring commercial decisions on the language are taken from a fully informed position. DWF fulfilled this role admirably for us and I look forward to working on the next deal with them."
