The new Of Counsel of DWF Roberto Culicchi

09 November 2020
DWF in Italy appoints Roberto Culicchi as Of Counsel, strengthening its financial services sector.

Roberto Culicchi is considered a specialist in capital markets and financial and banking regulation, bringing with him over 20 years' experience, including assisting in equity capital markets transactions (such as IPOs and capital increases), debt securities issuance (domestic and international), takeover bids, as well as structured finance transactions, financial and banking regulation and compliance and corporate governance of listed issuers.

Roberto also has significant experience as an in-house lawyer, having served for several years as General Counsel of the Italian branch of the Swiss bank EFG Bank.

Previously, he acted as a counsel for the international law firm Clifford Chance from 1995 to 2007, and prior to that as Partner and Head of Equity Capital Markets at Hogan Lovells.

Luca Lo Pò, Head of Financial Services and Capital Markets at DWF in Italy, commented, "We are delighted to have appointed Roberto. He is highly regarded in his field and his addition to DWF will allow us to further strengthen our financial services and capital markets department that, in the year since it was established, has already been able to carve out a significant role in the sector."

Michele Cicchetti, Managing Partner of DWF in Milan, also commented, "Roberto's appointment is a great addition to DWF in Italy and his expertise will help to provide a further boost to both our financial services sector and our capital markets work."
