The team provides advice on all aspects of corporate lending, leveraged and acquisition finance, including the use of alternative funding models such as asset based lending. We advise banks, mezzanine and second lien lenders, debt funds, private equity houses, and corporate borrowers on acquisition debt and intercreditor arrangements.

They operate as a fully-integrated practice, allowing us to provide partner-led assistance to banks and business borrowers across the UK at a competitive price.

Recent experience includes:

  • Acting for the structured finance and asset based lending teams of a clearing bank in relation to the MBO of a £700 million turnover employment services group
  • Acting for a clearing bank in relation to its £40 million receivables and inventory facilities provided to a motor factor business which is expanding through successive acquisitions
  • Acting for a substantial Manchester (UK) based corporate with regard to its £45 million syndicated Asset Based Lending facility, provided for the purpose of a cross border acquisition
