Following a highly competitive tender process, Allianz Insurance has appointed DWF to its UK Claims Legal Panel to provide legal claims services as one of three legal partners across all service lines.
In addition, following Allianz's acquisition of the LV= General Insurance Group (LV= GI) in January 2020, DWF has been reappointed to LV='s legal panel for legal claims services relating to Motor and Fraud, as well as several new claims areas, including Property, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The appointments build on DWF's current work on the panels of Allianz Legal Protection and Allianz Ireland.
Commenting on the appointments Sir Nigel Knowles, Group CEO of DWF, said "We are delighted to have been appointed to Allianz's legal panel and to have extended our panel status with LV= GI. This is great recognition for DWF's premium insurance practice and our differentiated proposition in the legal services market. We have already supported LV= GI for a number of years and are very pleased to build on our excellent existing relationship with this new appointment. I would like to thank the Allianz legal team for entrusting this important work to us and we look forward to working with them to support their strategic priorities."
Graham Gibson, Chief Claims Officer at Allianz Insurance, commented, "We are pleased to welcome DWF to our legal panel for claims, as our partners play a crucial role in delivering our customer journey. We reviewed our claims panel in collaboration with LV= to align our service provision and to enable a more end-to-end experience. We know this joint approach will fit our strategic direction and benefit our customers.”
Martin Milliner, GI Claims Director at LV= General Insurance also commented, “Following a full market review, we are delighted to agree a new deal with DWF, expanding on our strong, long-term partnership and founded upon our shared values. During the process we were particularly impressed by DWF’s future strategy for innovation and the quality of the lawyers dedicated to our work.”
