DWF, the global legal business, has boosted its real estate offering in Poland with the appointment of partner, Joanna Wojnarowska, and senior associates, Weronika Roesler and Ewa Lewandowska.

Joanna Wojnarowska is a highly regarded real estate lawyer, with more than 20 years of professional experience in advising clients on the legal aspects of real estate and construction transactions and investments. Her professional experience includes representation of clients in matters related to real estate transactions – sales and acquisitions, construction matters as well as development and commercialisation, in all real estate sectors – office, residential, logistics and retail, throughout Poland.

Joanna will assume the role of Partner and Head of the Real Estate Department in Poland. Chambers Europe and Legal 500 EMEA recognise Joanna as a leading lawyer in real estate in Poland. She joins DWF Poland with two Senior Associates, Weronika Roesler and Ewa Lewandowska from Baker McKenzie, where she was a partner in the real estate & construction practice group.

Michał Pawłowski, DWF's Managing Partner in Poland, said: "We are delighted to welcome Joanna, a well-known name on the real estate market, to the dynamic and fast-expanding DWF team in Poland. Her vast expertise in the real estate and construction sector and unique experience in providing legal advice to clients in those sectors will significantly strengthen our offering in Poland."

Melanie Williams, Head of Real Estate at DWF commented: "Our real estate team is growing and with its focus on investment and international markets Joanna's 20 plus years of experience coupled with her highly regarded reputation in this space will be a welcome addition to the real estate practice."

Joanna added: "I am proud to become part of a global legal business that is developing so dynamically. I love the innovative and energetic culture of DWF and believe that my experience and business approach will be a perfect contribution to the business. I am delighted that my clients will benefit from the large team and varied skills that we can now provide."

DWF launched in Poland in May 2019.
