The DWF Forest

The DWF Forest is an innovative carbon removal project developed in partnership with Climate Impact Partners.

To achieve our ambitious net zero goal, we are prioritising a 90% emissions reduction target, whilst collaborating with Climate Impact Partners on an innovative carbon removal project: the "DWF Forest" at Broadmeadows. This project will sequester carbon as it matures, addressing the firm's residual 10% emissions.

Located in Yarrowford, in the Scottish borders, the DWF Forest will have significant wider positive environmental and social impacts by restoring nature, protecting biodiversity and providing a platform for community engagement and education.

The project operates under the UK Woodland Carbon Code (WCC) the quality assurance standard for woodland carbon projects in the UK. More than half a million trees have been planted since 2018, including a mix of conifers and native broadleaves.

Recently installed wildlife cameras across the site, capturing both the changing landscape and visiting wildlife showcases in real time the long term investment in environmental stewardship and community impact. This work goes beyond carbon – it’s about restoring nature, supporting communities, and taking tangible long term responsibility for our environmental footprint. This project is a vital element of our commitment to ambitious climate action:
