Andrew is a Partner at DWF and Head of the Leeds Real Estate Team.

Experience

 

Working across the sector groups, with a particular specialism in retail and local government, Andrew's expertise includes commercial development and investment and funds.

 

An experienced property development specialist acting in both the private and public sectors, Andrew is recognised for his commercial and practical approach. He is experienced in a wide range of complex property transactions from PRS schemes to Live Entertainment Arenas.

Andrew acted for Leeds City Council and Yorkshire Forward on the First Direct Arena in the city centre and is actively engaged in the acquisition, development, letting, funding and disposal of a variety of PRS ,retail, office and industrial schemes both out of town and in the city centre. Andrew recently acted for the City of Copenhagen and Realdania in the procurement of an operator for the 12,000-seater arena to be constructed on the outskirts of the city.

Outside of the office Andrew is an enthusiastic 5-a-side footballer, a keen walker, particularly in the Dales and the Lakes, regular gym attendee at a local gym and Leeds United fan.
