David sits on the Engaging People Executive and is a member of the Executive Committee, a communication forum for decisions on firm-wide matters. He is instrumental in driving transformative change

David has considerable experience of operational delivery, business change and outsourcing derived from a wealth of experience of the UK legal sector, and global insurers RSA and Zurich. This experience has included supply chain management, working to transform results through business process engineering, use of technology and people engagement. The approach he takes is strategic and he looks to generate business models that align to the customer but also fulfil a necessary enterprise architecture to ensure that any business can scale. His working experience in India, Sri Lanka and Europe enables him to view operational delivery from a multi-faceted global perspective.

At various times he has implemented significant supply chain solutions, Legal Alternative Business Structures (ABS), and near /off-shored back office and front office activity. He has also worked collaboratively with suppliers to improve their offering and this had led to a high level of customer advocacy. His style is collaborative but places people at the heart of improvement, rooted in data but also holding people accountable to their commitments.

He works with Business Intelligence, Finance, Change, Project and IT functions to ensure that the business is able to meet its obligations to its clients. This also leads him to counterparts in the Commercial and Connected Services Divisions to leverage best practice and commercial business opportunities. Given this experience then it is no surprise that David is instrumental in driving the agenda for business change, and the call toward leveraging new techniques, processes and technology in the legal sector, and here at DWF.
