Experience


Richard Kranz has worked in the Insurance Industry for 28 years in the areas of Underwriting with major Insurers, Risk surveying and claims handling and loss assessing / adjusting. 

During the last 18 years he has specialised the field of loss assessing / loss adjusting for Insurance Companies and solicitors and has been in the employment of four major Loss Adjusting firms.

Richard has handled numerous large and complex claims in Property, Liability, Contract Works, Contract Works Liability, Machinery Breakdown, Marine, Mobile and Fixed Plant and others. 

On occasions Richard has worked as an expert witness on large and complex matters including marine, property and mobile plant.

Prior to working in the Insurance Industry Richard was in The Royal Australian Navy working as a Marine Engineer. 

Richard is a University qualified Mechanical / Marine engineer and is a Fellow of AICLA and an Associate of ANZIIF.
