Sean Barrett qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and joined DWF in 2019 as a Senior Associate in the Dublin Office.

Sean specialises in dealing with professional indemnity claims and insurance coverage disputes.  Key specialist areas include handling professional indemnity claims for architects, engineers, surveyors, accountants, solicitors, and insurance brokers. Sean also has experience in medical malpractice litigation.
Sean has also acted for leading insurers in the defence of high complex and high value employers' liability and general casualty claims including motor, aviation, fatality and defamation claims.  Sean has also acted for leading insurers in coverage disputes, subrogation claims and recovery.
Sean is ACII qualified and worked in a leading insurance broker for a period of eight years prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2012.
