Michelle's recent projects include leading a multi-disciplinary team advising a northern Council on a £27.5 million project to decarbonise the Council’s commercial buildings including schools, cultural venues, industrial estates and libraries. The Council were seeking to install low carbon heating and other energy efficient measures to help the Council with their ongoing target of becoming net zero by 2030.
Michelle recently advised a District Council on the property aspects of a joint venture with a commercial development partner, in the delivery of the long-term redevelopment of multiple sites across the district. The sites were redeveloped for mixed use, commercial property and residential development. Michelle lead the project team advising a local Council on a garden city settlement. The Council were negotiating a Collaboration Agreement with landowner partners for a new garden city which included approximately 10,000 new homes, land designated for an employment hub, new schools and health centres along with rail and road infrastructure.
In addition, Michelle is member of the DWF Diversity & Inclusion Global Leadership Committee, championing both race and gender.
