Lee Norman

Partner, Manchester

Lee advises a broad range of businesses and institutions on all aspects of their contractual and commercial disputes.

He has particular expertise and a track record of success advising clients in relation to outsourcing and technology disputes as well as large and complex professional negligence claims.

Lee is regularly instructed by businesses to advise on issues including disputes concerning IT and telecommunication contracts, infringement of intellectual property rights and reputational issues including allegations of defamation. His particular expertise is in advising businesses in relation to emergency action (including injunctive relief) against employees, directors and competitors arising from breaches of contracts of employment and fiduciary duties and the theft of confidential information.

His approach to litigation, including funding, is flexible and innovative. Alternative dispute resolution comes naturally so I have conducted numerous mediations and have a successful track record of working with clients to identify and utilise bespoke litigation funding products which have resulted in recoveries for clients of well over £10 million.
