Experience
Kellie is a dual-qualified solicitor with over 10 years' post-qualification experience acting for insurer clients in complex personal injury litigation. She specialises in defending high-value and technically challenging claims involving serious orthopaedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, psychological injuries and substantial future loss claims.Kellie manages a diverse caseload of multi-track and major injury claims and advises clients on liability, causation, quantum, reserving and litigation strategy. She has extensive experience handling claims involving complex medical evidence, rehabilitation issues, future treatment claims and significant future loss exposure. She acts directly for insurer clients including Direct Line Group, Aviva, Somerset Bridge and AND-E, providing commercially focused advice from inception through to settlement or trial.
Kellie has significant experience leading, supervising and developing legal teams. Throughout her career she has managed and mentored junior lawyers, claims professionals and support staff, providing technical guidance, training, quality assurance and day-to-day supervision. She is passionate about developing others and sharing knowledge to support technical excellence and client service.
Drawing on experience gained in both private practice and insurer-facing environments, Kellie understands the importance of regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and delivering practical solutions aligned with client objectives. She is recognised for her pragmatic approach, strong client relationships and ability to manage complex litigation efficiently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
