ExperienceJoshua works with clients in order to resolve disputes as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible, either through litigation, mediation or other alternative dispute resolution.
He has substantial High Court and experience, having acted for and against individuals, SME's, PLCs, multi-national conglomerates and Government States, in a multitude of disputes, and has substantial know-how and knowledge of shareholder, joint-venture, board and post-transaction disputes. When needed, Joshua is well versed in obtaining urgent Court relief, ranging from the delivery up and inspection of IT equipment to prohibitory injunctions to worldwide freezing orders, in both the prevention of wrongdoing and in the enforcement of judgments. Joshua is also well versed in arbitration (both ad-hoc and under the guise of arbitral bodies such as the ICC and the LCIA), mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Joshua also has substantial experience of advising clients in the aftermath of a data-breach, including in respect of their reporting obligations, dealing with regulatory investigations and enforcement action, and in both the pursuit and defence of related litigation, in respect of those affected by a data breach and those who may be responsible for it.
Outside the office Joshua is a keen Aston Villa fan, but these days spends more time at Leyton Orient with his young son.
