Experience
John specialises in commercial, property, tax and personal injury / fraud claims. He has substantial experience of advocacy in all levels of Courts up to and including the Court of Appeal, in which he has appeared in both Civil and Criminal matters.
John has always had a strong written practice and regularly provides advice upon the merits of cases and/or quantum and is frequently engaged to draft pleadings for both Claimants and Defendants.
Having worked as a Chartered Accountant, a qualification he still retains, with two of the Big 4, John has a keen eye for the figures. He also possesses the relatively unique ability to advise not only upon the legal position of clients but also the commercial realities of the situations in which they find themselves. He can therefore offer practical advice as well as that based upon black letter law.
