Experience
During her undergraduate studies, Heather was selected to take part in The Supreme Court Mooting competition, where she was awarded Advocate of the evening, judged by Lord Burrows.
Before joining DWF, Heather built a successful career in senior HR leadership roles across the healthcare, travel and construction sectors. She brings a wealth of experience in stakeholder management, policy development and resolving complex workplace and regulatory issues. Heather’s background has given her a strong understanding people, the ability to build trust and communication, which she now applies to her advocacy, client care and case preparation.
Alongside her studies, Heather served as Clerk to School Admission Appeals for a local authority, where she worked closely with the public, explaining legal and procedural matters and ensuring fair hearings in line with statutory guidance. This experience deepened her understanding of procedural fairness and enhanced her ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to those unfamiliar with the law.
Outside of work, Heather is an avid dancer and holds Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) qualifications up to Grade 8. She continues to attend ballet, tap and Pilates, and has a keen interest in the arts, padel and travel.
