He has developed close relationships with some of the industry's top barristers and medical professionals, and implements strategies and expertise that has saved clients tens of millions of pounds in indemnity spend. He is relied upon by insurers for mentoring and strategic initiatives. Giles has numerous liability wins at trial, including the dismissal of a £5m claim. He has also obtained many discontinuances in complex and other cases. He has handled cases involving the appellate courts. Giles is a key member of DWF's Areas of Core Excellence TBI Group, and has recently recorded a podcast with Leigh Neal, Consultant Psychiatrist, on the role of neuropsychiatry in TBI cases.
