After passing the Illinois bar, Carolyn worked in private practice in Chicago. Her work as a trial lawyer focused on insurance defence. She handled a wide variety of lawsuits from large construction matters to automobile cases and professional liability claims. Her work involved heavy investigative skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and delivering high level results for clients.
Carolyn decided to pursue passion for good writing and went back to university to complete a Master's in Written Communication in 2014. She joined DWF Claims in 2017.
As Assistant Vice President at DWF Claims, Carolyn manages a wide variety of complex claims for insurance syndicates affiliated with Lloyd's, London. Her claims typically involve multi-million dollar damages. Her work includes claims in the United States, Canada and abroad.
- Carolyn is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and Federal District Court in Northern Illinois. She was recently named a Trustee of DWF Foundation.
