Experience
Beth joined DWF Advocacy Ltd in July 2016. She attends hearings in all aspects of personal injury work including high value cases worth in excess of 1 million pounds. She has extensive experience of credit hire matters. She is familiar with making submissions on directions and costs budgeting in complex matters at Costs and Case Management Hearings and has been involved in numerous catastrophic injury cases including cases requiring medical evidence from a number of different disciplines. Beth is well-versed in occupational health and disease matters and has extensive experience in noise induced hearing loss cases.
Beth undertakes a lot of drafting work for DWF Advocacy; drafting Part 35 Questions, Defences, various applications and pleadings. Beth has drafted applications for strike out/summary judgment, relief from sanctions, setting default judgment aside and attended those hearings, achieving successful outcomes for DWF's clients. She is also regularly involved in making and opposing applications for medical evidence, whether through a specific application or at case management hearings.
Beth obtained her undergraduate degree in History, before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and going on to obtain a Very Competent on the Bar Professional Training Course in London. Beth spent some time working as a freelance County Court Advocate, specialising in motor claims including personal injury work before joining DWF.
