Anne Marie specialises in regulatory compliance and defence issues arising out of the conception, manufacturing and retail of food and consumer goods, whether in physical stores, online or through hospitality channels.
She covers a broad spectrum of regulation throughout the supply chain, advising businesses on contentious and non-contentious regulatory issues relating to the launch, sale and marketing of a variety of regulated food and consumer products, including withdrawals and recalls, health and safety and sustainability related regulation. Her compliance work is often cross border and has involved well over 40 different jurisdictions. She regularly interacts with UK enforcement authorities on behalf of clients in order to ensure that they secure the best possible outcome from any challenges brought against them.
Due to her significant in-house experience, with secondments in both online and bricks and mortar retailers, as well as a period as in-house regulatory counsel for Deliveroo, Anne Marie has dealt with the whole gamut of compliance issues arising for businesses. These issues are typically high profile and touch almost every aspect of these businesses, across multiple jurisdictions. Anne Marie has a particular niche in e-commerce and Q-commence marketplaces and has had the pleasure of acting for some of the most exciting brands in the world.
