Written statement of employment particulars: Are you prepared for 6 April 2020?

21 February 2020
Section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 requires employers to provide employees with a written statement of employment particulars including certain basic information about their employment.  From 6 April 2020 this right will extend to all workers, with further important changes coming into effect, impacting all employers.
Additional protection and clarity for workers has been on the agenda since the Taylor Review was published in 2017.  In December 2018 the Government announced through its Good Work Plan a number of changes to the scope of the written statement, including making access to the statement a "day one" right.

Please see attached our flyer for more information on this update and to see how the team at DWF can support you and your business in readiness for the 6 April 2020 changes >
