Event Details

In celebration of this year's International Women's Day theme: #ChooseToChallenge we have assembled a panel of inspiring women who have led the way in their careers and become change makers to create a more equal, fair and just world for us all. Join us to hear how they have challenged and created change.

Panellists

• Claire Darwin, Barrister, Matrix Chambers
Claire represented Samira Ahmed and worked on the high profile equal pay claim against the BBC. Claire was the sole counsel for the claimant.

• Robin White, Barrister, Old Square Chambers
Robin led a major step forward for the LGBTQ+ community in the recent landmark Jaguar Land Rover case that ruled 'gender is a spectrum'. It is an issue of importance close to Robin, who was the first barrister at the employment and discrimination Bar to transition.
