The Board understands its role in setting the tone of the DWF Group’s culture, ensuring it aligns with our purpose, values and strategy. This year has further highlighted how fundamental the combination of a strong culture and values are in guiding the Group towards achieving its purpose. On that basis, we are rolling out an updated Code of Conduct globally to colleagues, incorporating changes to internal policies and processes aligned to our ESG integration and external best practice. Our suppliers must confirm they accept our ethical, labour, human rights and environmental standards aligned to the United Nations Global Compact.
As a business we have a zero tolerance approach to:
DWF supports the principles of Human Rights set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) core labour standards and is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. To find out more information about our position on Human Rights please read our 2022 statement.
Our goal is to build trust and open relationships with our supply chain and work together to develop our approach to responsible sourcing and sustainable procurement. Additionally, a mandatory Ethical Sourcing Questionnaire is required and assists with identifying potential areas of risk within our supply chain, and aligns to our Ethical Sourcing Policy, draws from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code, and consolidates input from other stakeholders. It also enables us to track the diversity of our supply chain.
