Experience
Paweł is an attorney-at-law and the Head of Insurance Department at DWF in Poland, providing legal advice to the insurance and banking industry. For four years he served as director of the legal department and compliance officer at an insurance company. Earlier, he advised financial institutions as outside counsel and as an in-house lawyer.
He works for leading companies from the financial sector. He was involved in implementation of new legal regulations and recommendations of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. He advises on selection and implementation of insurance distribution models (sales by internet, phone, bancassurance and affinity). He drafts and reviews general and specific terms & conditions of insurance, insurance policies and related documents. He represents clients in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, the General Inspector of Financial Information, the Financial Ombudsman and the courts. Also, he co-ordinates legal audits of target companies from the financial services sector.
He is the author of numerous articles in leading dailies and industry publications.
