Fiona is a Director and Professional Support Lawyer, part of an experienced team supporting our Insurance lawyers and focused on communicating key legal developments, market trends and emerging issues to our legal advisers and clients.

Experience


The team publish a monthly Insurance Brief along with regular updates on key case law and legislation. It also provides a horizon scanning service to clients to assist in predicting potential new areas for claims, claims spikes and increasing claims costs. 

Prior to joining DWF, Fiona practised as a solicitor in Birmingham, specialising in the defence of professional indemnity claims, before moving into academia and eventually being appointed Principal Lecturer and Co-Director of the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Law School.
