Experience
Having previously been a partner in the commercial department for 12 years, Ciara gained extensive experience in general conveyancing and in commercial property acquisitions, disposals and refinancing of various types of property including shopping centres, retail parks and office buildings. Ciara has had sole conduct of many high value transactions and has also acted as lead lawyer on a number of projects with responsibility for co-ordination of all aspects of the projects. Latterly Ciara specialised in banking and security realisation acting for banks and other lending institutions in relation to perfecting and enforcing security. Her clients also included insolvency practitioners. Ciara has now moved into a Consultancy role with the firm, focusing largely on providing advice and assistance to the Law Society of Northern Ireland in connection with its role as the regulatory authority governing the education, accounts, discipline and professional conduct of solicitors in order to maintain the independence, ethical standards, professional competence and quality of services offered to the public. In an ever increasing environment of statutory regulation and requirement for compliance, Ciara's breadth of knowledge and experience throughout her career to date provide a sound foundation for her role.Memberships
