Shane leads on the real estate aspects of the UK's energy team group, working closely with other international energy specialists within the global Energy Sector. He is particularly renowned for his expertise in land rights and consenting risk and specialises in providing strategic and transactional land rights and real estate advice in relation to energy (including renewables) and infrastructure projects including electricity (generation and transmission/distribution), gas, water, CCS and waste. He also acts for investors, funders/banks and infrastructure funds in these sectors and provides both strategic and transactional real estate advice to banks and insolvency practitioners in relation to single-asset and portfolio distressed real estate deals and energy projects.
