Bhavya Rawal is a Legal Technology Consultant at DWF. Her dual background in law and technology provides her with a unique insight into helping clients navigate the world of technology and enhance their experience when using legal technology.
Based in London, Bhavya assists legal and procurement departments with technology adoption. This includes building custom applications, advising clients on their current technology stack and assessing emerging platforms to determine how they can help solve business and legal pain points. As part of DWF'sLegal Operations, Technology and Consulting practice area, Bhavya works closely with colleagues to help advocate for and implement process solutions for a wide range of clients.
She is passionate about steering clients toward efficiency gains through legal technology and the wide range of improvements these platforms can introduce.
Prior to DWF, Bhavya gained experience both in the legal industry and in software and application development. She has worked as a Software Developer, Applications Developer and as Development Manager for a host of technology companies including iStock by Getty Images and SMART Technologies, becoming an expert in training and leading technology teams, agile application development and collaborative software development. After working in the IT industry for several years, Bhavya combined her technical expertise with legal credentials, training as a solicitor and barrister at a boutique litigation firm, Kirk Montoute, in Calgary, Canada, before cross-qualifying as a lawyer in the United Kingdom. She is a skilled advocate both in and out of the courtroom.
When she is not helping clients modernise their workflows, Bhavya enjoys reading, cooking and exploring the great English outdoors with her husband and children.
