Experience
Maciej Pieńkowski has been specialising in the broad field of energy law, both in domestic and EU areas for four years. Since 2025, he has been an attorney-at-law, working at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. Maciej gained his knowledge primarily at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw, University of Cologne, and the Center for American Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw.
After obtaining a Master’s degree in law, he completed a legal apprenticeship at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw, successfully concluding it in 2024. Throughout his professional career, Maciej has gained experience as both a litigator and corporate lawyer, working with domestic and international clients.
In his specialisation in energy law, Maciej focuses primarily on regulatory and transactional matters. At DWF, he supports clients by, inter alia, representing them in proceedings before regulatory authorities and common courts, preparing comprehensive legal opinions, and negotiating, drafting, and analyzing power purchase agreements (PPAs), corporate PPAs (cPPAs), and related financial instruments such as virtual PPAs (VPPAs).
