During his career Tom has specialised in working for businesses with real estate requirements whether as occupier or investor. He has extensive experience of buying, selling, leasing and mortgaging commercial property in England and Wales and has acted for a number of major retailers and investors dealing with high value sale, purchase, letting, financing and asset management transactions, together with corporate support and specialist/strategic advice.In recent years Tom has redeployed his skills and now practices as a professional support lawyer providing high level advice and counsel to the real estate teams and more widely across DWF. Tom leads in the development and maintenance of key skills, knowledge, best practice and risk management for real estate lawyers within DWF. He is involved in, and liaises with key, industry bodies and stakeholders. He is also engaged in many important technology initiatives including automation, case management and artificial intelligence.
Tom enjoys a walk and also sailing, skiing and mountaineering. He appreciates film music and literature.
