Mareike has been active in the Hamburg transport law market as a specialised lawyer for several years. She is admitted to the Hanseatische Rechtsanwaltskammer Hamburg and qualified as a certified specialist in transport and freight forwarding law (Fachanwältin für Transport- und Speditionsrecht).
Mareike's practice focuses on national and international transport and freight forwarding law, warehousing law, transport insurance law and logistics law. She advises logistics service providers, carriers, transport insurers and shippers on freight, forwarding and warehouse contracts, liability issues, recourse claims and coverage disputes. Her work includes both contract drafting and litigation.
Due to her international training, Mareike is frequently involved in cross-border matters where German and English legal systems and jurisdictions intersect. Clients value her ability to explain complex facts clearly, identify risks precisely and develop practical solutions that are both legally sound and commercially sensible.
She has published on selected transport and logistics law issues and has contributed to articles on liability issues in connection with logistics services and trademark law, as well as regulatory topics such as packaging regulations. She is active in relevant networks including the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Transportrecht.
