He is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, in real estate transactions and in the stock market, both in its regulatory aspects and in equity capital markets.
He has advised national and foreign clients on Takeover bids (OPAs), IPOs, securities issuance, M&A transactions, and corporate restructuring.
Ignacio is also an associate professor of Commercial Law at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), and for 8 years, he was the co-director of the Commercial Law module and professor of the Master's Degree in Business Legal Advice at the European University of Madrid (UE). He has taught classes for the Master's Degree in Corporate and Financial Management and for the Master's Degree in International Advocacy of the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE).
Moreover, Ignacio is a secretary and member of the Board of Directors of various Spanish and foreign companies, a regular speaker at various national and international forums related to his fields of expertise, and an author of various publications on commercial and financial matters, as well as a collaborator in specialised magazines.
Before joining DWF-RCD, Ignacio was the head of the corporate department at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, in addition to having worked at firms such as Holland & Knight, in its Miami (Florida) office, and in CMS Albiñana y Suárez de Lezo, as well as in Banco Santander.
