Experience

Before joining DWF, Tiffany practiced insurance litigation at a national boutique firm and spent seven years in the insurance sector, working in Technology and Operational Risk at one of Canada and the UK’s largest insurers. Her time in both Toronto and London head offices gave her firsthand insight into how insurers assess risk and make decisions alongside reinsurers, boards, and regulators.

Tiffany’s litigation practice centers on complex construction disputes and commercial matters, with a specialized focus on Surety claims. She has led multi-million-dollar Surety files from start to finish - handling claims analysis, trust fund and holdback management, indemnity enforcement, and navigating principal bankruptcies. Her strategic, recovery-focused approach helps Sureties protect their position and resolve claims efficiently under pressure.

In addition, Tiffany maintains a robust Commercial Recovery and Subrogation practice, acting for corporate and insurance clients in large-loss matters involving breach of contract, property damage, and goods lost in transit. She has successfully recovered funds in high-value disputes through targeted litigation, fund tracing, and indemnity enforcement. Clients value her precision, tenacity, and ability to deliver practical results in complex recovery scenarios.
