Nicola has more than 15 years' litigation experience. She has developed a particular expertise in community safeguarding work, supporting police forces in the use of preventative civil orders and providing strategic advice on complex and sensitive cases. Her practice combines technical legal expertise with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, helping clients navigate challenging legal and operational issues.Alongside her legal practice, Nicola is actively involved in training, mentoring and thought leadership. She has delivered legal training programmes, webinars and knowledge-sharing initiatives, and is a published legal author. Most recently, she co-authored a five-part series for Legal Women examining the legal framework and practical challenges associated with stalking and Stalking Protection Orders.
Recognised for her collaborative and practical approach, Nicola works closely with police forces and stakeholders to develop effective safeguarding strategies and deliver positive outcomes in complex and sensitive matters.
