Experience
Natascha advises organisations facing complex regulatory investigations, providing strategic support from the earliest stages of an incident. She helps clients manage investigations, prepare for interviews under caution and develop proactive, well-evidenced responses to regulators, often improving the prospects of resolving matters without the need for court proceedings. As a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the Higher Criminal Courts, she is able to represent clients throughout the criminal and regulatory process.
She has extensive experience advising on water regulatory issues, food safety, consumer products, environmental regulation and health and safety. Her recent experience includes advising corporates on issues surrounding allergen management, food hygiene systems, unsafe and substandard food, water pollution and contamination, illegal water fittings, warrant of entry applications, regulatory appeals, defence of health and safety matters and inquests. Natascha also regularly advises clients on responding to civil sanctions, which are increasingly being used across the water and consumer sectors.
Natascha works closely with in-house legal, operational and compliance teams, helping clients manage legal risk, protect reputation and make defensible decisions in high-pressure situations. She is regularly instructed by statutory water and sewage undertakers and has a deep understanding of the regulatory and operational environment in which they operate. Natascha is passionate about helping regulated businesses navigate complex legal and operational challenges with clarity, confidence and commercial pragmatism.
In addition to her contentious work, Natascha advises clients on compliance strategy, internal processes and regulatory preparedness. She also delivers tailored training to clients and industry groups and regularly speaks at specialist sector events, including food safety, hospitality, health and safety and environmental law conferences.
