Experience

My background and training is as a lawyer, with a particular focus on resolving professional negligence and other commercial claims.  Having transitioned through partnership and into management, I have spent the last few years in an operational role as the COO of a multi-disciplinary alternative business structure.

I am really interested in the process of providing insurers and their policyholders with a professional and effective solution to handle and resolve their claims as quickly as possible.  Different clients have different needs, whether it be claims handling, loss adjusting, accountancy, legal or other specialist skills, or a combination of some or all of these.  Some require a cradle to grave service that handles a claim from first notification to final resolution underpinned by a case management system.

I was therefore delighted to have been given the role of the day to day running of DWF's Connected Services division, reporting into our group CEO Andrew Leaitherland.  The aim is to provide clients with a service that is truly unique and "does things differently", beyond providing purely legal services.

The Connected Services division has a number of specialist services, sometimes working directly with clients, sometimes as a combined service with lawyers. It includes:

DWF Advantage
