The completion of this transaction has significantly expanded DWF's Claims Management and Adjusting (CMA) and wider insurance capabilities in a country which has the fourth largest Lloyd's market behind only the US, UK and Canada.
Proclaim was founded in 1999 by Jon Broome, and now has a team of 60 people across its main office in Melbourne and a second location in Sydney. It is widely regarded as the leading Australian claims management business for the London market.
This transaction adds to DWF's global presence in CMA as the team now comprises of 320 colleagues based across nine jurisdictions.
