DWF appoints new European Head in continued growth of global Claims Management & Adjusting (CMA) offering

17 September 2024

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has appointed Luca Schilardi as its new European Head of Claims Management and Adjusting (CMA).

Luca has more than 25 years' experience in the insurance industry; working for both Lloyd's and company markets, and will be responsible for CMA across offices in France, Italy and Spain.
Previously, he has worked on defining and implementing commercial strategies to increase customer portfolios, and handled a variety of classes, including professional indemnity, public officials, financial institutions, medical-malpractice, directors and officers, third party general liability, reinstatement cost assessment and property.

Luca's appointment comes on the heels of Darren Goldman and Antonio Herrera Sancho joining DWF's CMA offering as Head of North America, and Claims Director in Spain, respectively, and the acquisition of Australia's leading claims management business, Proclaim.

Paul Cowen, Global Head of Claims Management and Adjusting said, "Luca is well known in the insurance industry and we are delighted he is joining DWF as our new European Head of CMA. He brings a wealth of experience with him that will be a tremendous asset to DWF and our clients."

Luca added, "I couldn't be more pleased to be joining DWF at this exciting time with the investments it has made in its claims management and adjusting business. I look forward to working with our teams across insurance to continue to provide the market leading solutions our clients have come to expect from DWF."
