Career Development Lab Series

Following the success of the collaboration with Zing365 in 2022, we are excited to bring another training programme for 2023. We’re calling it the ‘Career Development Lab’. 

Event Details

The 2023 training programme has been carefully designed for the LINK group. The programme will encourage professionals to nurture the skills needed to aid career development. 

The programme consists of 4 interesting topics and are assembled in a way to join the previous topic and build new skills. The aim is for you to walk away at the end of the programme with the knowledge needed to develop both interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. 

The great thing about this programme is that is it not aimed at one specific industry. Anyone can join, regardless of your industry and/or role. 

The programme will consist of the following sessions: 

  • Session 2 – Presenting with Impact – 13th June 12:00-13:00

We present daily, whether that is presenting a solution to a client, a proposition to a colleague, or even an update to a stakeholder. This session will use the skills developed in the first session to help you present with impact and confidence. 

We will focus on developing your communication skills, articulating your message with clarity, structuring your presentation and managing your audience.

Future Career Development Lab Sessions: 

  • Session 3 – Effective Negotiation - September 14th 2023
Utilizing the knowledge and skills gained from the previous topics, we will be exploring the skills required when negotiating, how to structure it and how you help others understand to direct negotiations towards the desired outcome.    
  • Session 4 – Dealing with difficult conversations – December 6th 2023 
The session will recap on the fundamentals of communication before understanding how to coach yourself and others through a difficult conversation and provide feedback in a clear, structured and powerful way.
