DWF advises primary care developer and investor, Assura plc, on latest acquisition

22 February 2021
DWF has advised primary care developer and investor, Assura plc, on the acquisition of Apollo Capital Projects Development Ltd.

Assura plc is a leading investor and developer of outstanding spaces for health services. The purchase of Apollo, which has a track record of developing primary care properties across the UK, will expand the Assura development team to 11 specialist surveyors, and also substantially increases its development pipeline.

DWF's Corporate team, led by partner Alasdair Outhwaite and senior associate Francesca Kinsella, alongside real estate partner, Paul Inman, acted for Assura plc on the purchase.

Alasdair said: "It is a pleasure to advise Assura plc on this latest acquisition, which builds on the previous acquisition of primary care developer, GPI, two years ago. Assura is renowned for its capabilities in creating exceptional spaces for health services in our communities. This latest acquisition will allow the business to continue its growth as a sector-leader in this field."
