David joined DWF as a trainee in 2007 and has worked in catastrophic Injury since qualification in 2009. He specialises in defending EL, PL and RTA claims involving, amongst other issues, fatal accidents, chronic pain, brain injuries and fundamental dishonesty.
Recent Cases
- Cleightonhills v Bembridge Marine [2012] EWHC 3449 (TCC); [2013] CILL 3289, TCC. This case involved a claim against various construction professionals following the failure of marine platform on which a worker sustained catastrophic injuries. The claim was successfully defended to trial.
- Hannah Pook v Rossall School [2018] EWHC 522 (QB). A claim was brought against a school by a pupil for failure to properly supervise her on her way to a hockey lesson. It was dismissed at both first instance and on appeal.
