Joel specialises in disputes arising out of companies and company law, partnerships and disputes between shareholders and directors. He regularly advises pre- and post-corporate deals in relation to the sale of businesses, warranty claims, earn out, completion accounts and additional consideration. He also helps protect companies from theft of confidential information and those engaging in anti-competitive practices as well as advising on the protection of intellectual property, including trade marks, copyright, design and passing off. Additionally he advises on reputation protection advising on defamatory statements made including through social media.
Joel has extensive experience of obtaining urgent remedies, including injunctions and orders for freezing and seizing assets (domestic and worldwide), computer imaging and access to premises and information.
