DWF strengthens corporate expertise with latest partner hire in Paris

Global legal business DWF has appointed Alexandre Piette to its Paris office as a corporate partner. He joins the business from French law firm Viguié Schmidt & Associés where he was partner.
Alexandre's practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, private equity and corporate law transactions. Throughout his fifteen years' as a corporate lawyer, Alexandre has worked for several law firms before joining Viguié Schmidt & Associés, including Linklaters and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei as well as undertaking employment in a leading French banking institution. He has particular expertise within the financial, insurance and health sectors.  

At DWF, Alexandre will work alongside his Paris and international colleagues to strengthen DWF's private equity offering in Paris and abroad. He will also be responsible for M&A and corporate law transactions advising clients on their development and investment projects.

The DWF office in Paris has seen significant expansion since its launch in 2017, and the practice now employs approximately 27 people. The team are largely internationally orientated and have considerable experience in corporate, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, projects financing and development, litigation and international arbitration transactions.
