Event details
Our webinar will include:
A case and legislation update: A practical update on the latest cases we are seeing come through the courts and tribunals; from two important decisions on gender-critical beliefs to long-Covid and disability to the Court of Appeal overturning the High Court decision on "firing and rehiring". We will also update you on recent and forthcoming consultations and legislative changes, including the latest position on menopause.
A new way of working: The pandemic worked as a catalyst to boost remote working on an unprecedented scale. Against a backdrop of a competitive labour market employers are eager to offer new and innovative ways to attract and retain talent. We will consider the latest position on hybrid working, including an insight into the legal implications of employing people abroad when employers adopt a "work from anywhere" policy.
What's on the horizon?: With a newly formed government in place the webinar will conclude with a horizon scan of what the future may look like for employment law. With the economic crisis, employee activism and strike action presenting new challenges for organisations, we will focus on how prioritising workplace culture and employee engagement will help employers stay one step ahead.
You will be given the opportunity to ask questions during the webinar.
