Raquel provides international companies with advice on acquiring, developing and managing their property, which includes analysing and developing land, checking authorisations and licenses, and negotiating and drafting a variety of agreements, such as purchase agreements, swap agreements, purchase option agreements, lease agreements, and building agreements.
Raquel has acted as a legal advisor on restructuring deals for corporate groups which own their own property, and advises companies and investment funds on acquiring, promoting, and managing their property portfolios. This includes managing and overseeing any legal action in relation to these properties being occupied illegally and also placing them on the market to be sold or leased. She has worked on administrative procedures before local authorities and has litigation experience before civil and administrative courts.
Before joining DWF-RCD, she practiced law at the Real Estate and Urban Planning Department of Ramón y Cajal Abogados and DAC Beachcroft, and as an in-house lawyer at Altamira Santander Real Estate.
