In a continuation of the lateral hiring campaign that has made DWF one of the fastest-growing practices in Australia, the London Stock Exchange-listed legal business has welcomed a three-person team from mid-tier firm MacPherson Kelley.
Alex Ninis joined DWF’s Melbourne office as a Principal Lawyer and has been joined by Marcus Hannah, Senior Associate and Serpil Bilgic, Solicitor.
DWF's Australian Managing Director Jamie McPherson said: “DWF’s ability to attract specialist teams is testament to the appeal of our distinctive brand proposition in the competitive Australian market."
“We welcome Alex, Marcus and Serpil and look forward to their success in growing DWF’s IT, privacy, data security, telco and IP practice”.
With more than 30 years’ legal experience, Alex Ninis has worked in-house for Lend Lease Corporation, Burns Philp & Co Ltd and PeopleSoft and as a partner of Truman Hoyle (now Bird & Bird) and Blue Rock Law, which was acquired by Macpherson Kelley in 2014. Alex acts for global and local information technology suppliers, and acquirers of information technology and telecommunications products and services, in the Asia Pacific region.
