Experience
Kirsteen joined in January 2022. She has extensive experience in defender reparation, working for a variety of major insurance clients, brokers, claims management services and loss adjusters. Kirsteen deals with motor, EL / PL, large loss, credit hire and claims where fraud is suspected.She deals with claims raised at all levels in the Sheriff Courts (including the All Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court) and at the Court of Session. She conducts hearings in the Sheriff Court and has successfully defended Sheriff Court cases to proof. Kirsteen successfully defended the first case where qualified one way costs shifting was disapplied in Scotland and has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law. She also regularly provides training internally and to external clients on a variety of subjects.
