Maggie acts for a wide variety of UK based insurers, defending their clients' employers' liability, public liability, road traffic and product liability cases. Over her career Maggie has defended a number of animal based injury claims and worked alongside agricultural businesses and private individuals to investigate and defend claims resulting from injury by animals. Prior to joining DWF Maggie worked in Aberdeen in marine and offshore insurance defence work where she developed a special interest in fatal claims and traumatic brain injury.Maggie acts in a variety of claims including Court of Session actions and regularly appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland including the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court.
Maggie is known for her pragmatic approach to litigation investigation and defence, and being able to formulate strategic approaches to claims aiming to cut through the unnecessary cost and delay, often associated with court processes.
